Melanie Sanchez Eastwood has over 10 years experience in government and the non-profit sector.  She has worked for United States Senator Pete V. Domenici, the gubernatorial campaign for Governor Susana Martinez, and various non-profit organizations, including the New Mexico Alliance for Legal Reform, the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, and the National Federation of Republican Women.  Melanie has a B.A. in political science from Coastal Carolina University and an M.A. in Government from Johns Hopkins University.

Her family includes her husband, Brent M. Eastwood and their son Brent Jr.
