New Mexico First Will Facilitate Community Health Meetings Around the State

New Mexico First will facilitate community health forums in Espanola, Clovis, Tucumcari, Ruidoso, Rio Rancho, Albuquerque and Las Lunas for community members, local healthcare providers, hospital administrators, and public health officials to share their thoughts about community-based initiatives that can improve the health of community members.

Presbyterian Healthcare Services has worked with its five regional hospitals and their Community Boards of Trustees to conduct community needs assessments and develop health priorities that affect New Mexicans. Although many health needs are common throughout the state, each community can be unique when implementing strategies for addressing these needs. Health forums will be held in the following communities:

Espanola: Feb 23, Presbyterian Espanola Hospital, 1010 Spruce Street, Chamisa Room
Clovis: March 26, Plains Regional Medical Center, 2100 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Cannon Room
Tucumcari: March 27, Tucumcari Convention Center, 1500 W. Route 66 Blvd., Liberty Room
Ruidoso: March 28, Lincoln County Medical Center, 211 Sudderth, Rehab Services Building, Physical Therapy Conference Room
Rio Rancho: April 3, Presbyterian Rust Medical Center, 2400 Unser Blvd. SE, Community Room 
Urban Albuquerque: April 5, United Way of Central New Mexico Training Center, 2340 Alamo Avenue SE, 2nd Floor
Las Lunas: April 11, Las Lunas, specific location to be determined.
