Senator Udall invites input on the connections between STEM and healthcare

The Office of Senator Tom Udall will host two roundtable discussions on the role of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education in meeting the growing need for doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. The events will feature presentations and small group discussions. Presenters include economist Kelly O'Donnell and healthcare researcher Sam Howarth.

WHEN:

  • August 12, 2013, UNM West,  2600 College Blvd NE, Rio Rancho, 9 am-noon

  • August 16, 2013, UNM Valencia, 280 La Entrada Road, Los Lunas, 9 am-noon

There is no cost to attend, but space is limited. Email gabriel_apodaca@tomudall.senate.gov for more information or to reserve your seat. Partners on the roundtables include UNM, the Mid-Region Council of Governments, and Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico.
