About This Report

This report is one of two documents produced by New Mexico First in association with the STEM Action Planning Summit, convened by the New Mexico Partnership for Math and Science Education.

This report informed participants on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education issues for the STEM Action Planning Summit. Participants were urged to review it prior to the event. This report also provides valuable context for policymakers, educators, and advocates – informing future STEM policies and practices.
