Central NM Congressional Town Hall to Identify Key Issues to Voters

Albuquerque , NM October 23,2008 --Voters throughout the first congresional district will meet at the Albuquerque Convention Center for a half-day town hall meeting to discuss issues they would like congressional candidates Martin Heinrich and Darren White to address. The half-day town hall will lead into a televised forum at the KNME studios where the voters become the studio audience and ask the candidates their questions.

The event is being simulcast statewide on all of NM’s public television stations and most of our public radio stations, and is the third and final in a series of town halls being organized throughout the state by New Mexico First and New Mexico Public Broadcasters.
